How To: Add Hostaway Integration to Lynx

In order to link a Hostaway listing to a Lynx Property, you will need to:

1. First add the Hostaway integration and authorize Lynx. This is a one-time process.

You are only able to complete this process if you are logged into Lynx as the account admin for your company.

2. Link each Hostaway listing to Lynx property

The Process:

Step 1:	Create an API Key and Account ID for your Hostaway account.
1.	Visit the Hostaway Dashboard and click the Marketplace button on the left bar (https://dashboard.hostaway.com/v3/marketplace). Scroll down to find the Lynx option, then click the “Connect“ button.
2.	This will open the Lynx option in Hostaway Marketplace (https://dashboard.hostaway.com/v3/marketplace/lynx). Click the "Connect" button.
3.	A pop-up will open and prompt you to create an API Key. Click the "Create" button.
4.	Copy the Account ID and API Key that is created. Save these to a file so you can add them to your Lynx integration later.
Step 2:	In the Lynx Portal, access the Integrations page.
1.	Click the "Settings" (gear icon) button at the top-left corner of the Lynx portal.
2.	Click "Integrations" on the left side of the "Settings" page.
3.	Click "Add Integration".
Step 3:	Enter the Integration Details.
1.	Select "PMS/Booking Site" as the Category
2.	Select "Hostaway" as the Partner.
3.	Create a name for the Integration. The Account Name is useful to organize multiple accounts of the same type.
4.	Enter the Account ID for your Hostaway account that you saved from Step 1.
5.	Enter the API Key for your Hostaway account that you saved from Step 1.
6.	Select "Yes" or "No" for the "Should the access code be sent back to the PMS?" field. Note that selecting "No" will prevent Lynx from sending guest codes to Hostaway.
7.	Select group assignments for the integration. If you only have one Hostaway integration that will be shared by all property groups, then select the "Shared Across All Groups" option. If you have multiple Hostaway accounts that need to be separated by group, then select the specific groups that the integration should be used for.
8.	Click "Add" to save and create the integration.
Step 4:	Authorize the integration.
1.	Click to expand the Integration details.
2.	Click authorize.
3.	Click Confirm and complete the necessary steps on the Hostaway site. Once completed, you have successfully linked your PMS!

Step 5:

Add the "door code" field in your Hostaway messaging to share your guest access codes

Tip: Authorizing an integration does not link devices or PMS listings to a specific property. When ready to start syncing reservations link PMS listing to each Lynx Property.
