How long does a full stay sync take once the property in Lynx is linked to a Guesty property? | When it is first connected, it will take up to 2 hours to download all reservations. |
How far in the future will it sync reservations to Lynx? | There is no restriction, Lynx will sync all upcoming reservations |
Will Lynx add any additional text to a synced reservation's confirmation number? e.g. 'VSK1234' | No |
Does this PMS Support reservations with multiple guests on a property? | No, this feature is not supported by Guesty. Lynx will only sync the primary guest. |
How often does Lynx sync new stays? | Instantaneously. After the full sync is complete, All new stays will sync to Lynx within 30 seconds. If this webhook alert is missed from Guesty to Lynx, Lynx will also execute a backup sync every 2 hours. Unless it's a same-day reservation, customers must wait for 2 hours before creating a ticket for a sync issue. |
How often does Lynx sync update(s) to an already synced stay? Updates include modifications like date, time, guest information, a move of the stay between properties, and cancelation. |

Does Lynx sync the owner's stays? |
No, Guesty does not currently provide reservation IDs with owner stays, which we need from Guesty to sync an owner stay in Lynx. Guesty plans to add this feature very soon so that these types of reservations should be able to sync to Lynx in the future.
Owner stays will need to be added to Lynx manually, for Smart Rules and settings to apply for their stay, if they exist. |
Does Lynx push the guest access code back to the PMS? | Yes |
How long does it take for PMS to receive the Lynx access code? | The code is pushed instantly after the stay is synced to Lynx. We have another backup to push the code to Guesty every 15 mins in case Guesty missed the message from Lynx. |
Is any setup required in the PMS portal to receive the Lynx access code? |
