How to: Setup Smart TV Branding & Whitelabel
Lynx offers a cloud-based Smart TV branding solution. Use the Lynx Portal>Groups section to set up the branding, colors, logo, welcome message, TV guide etc. Any changes made on the Smart TV White-label will be visible on the TVs within 5 minutes or less.
Download the Lynx SmartTV App on any Chromecast with Google TV (HD or 4K) stick OR any HiSense, TCL, Philips, or Sony TV with Google TV
This article will walk you through enabling the White label for the Smart TV. We recommend that you set up the white-label first, and then link the individual TVs to properties on Lynx. However, these steps can be done interchangeably.
If the white-label setup for the TV app is not completed, you will see this message on the TV:

To setup your Smart TV White Labeling, go to the groups tab at the top of the Lynx Dashboard:

You will then be shows a screen that will allow you to setup your White Labeling for the Smart TV: Please note that you can remove any page you do not want on your Smart TV. There is an option on the top of each section that will let you delete it:

Complete the Common Settings section:

The next tab is the Welcome Message Settings. Here you will be able to customize what message the guest see when they hit the Welcome Message on the Google TV App:
You will be able to choose the exact wording of the message, add any tags you want on the side, and select specific font or formatting options for the message.

Step 5: |
The section after this is Wi-Fi: Here you can edit what is displayed when the client clicks on the Wifi Menu Button in the app.

Once completed, you will need to save the Wifi page configuration:

The next page is the Contact Us page:
Here you will be able to edit what contact information is displayed, so if the guest has any questions, they can click here to find out how to contact you.

The next page is for your Services:
This page will reflect any services that you have set up.
Note* This will not display any early check-in offers as the guest(s) would have checked in by the time they have access to this display.

This page works as a digital guidebook, it displays all essential information in one location.
