How to: Add Salto KS Integration

This article will walk you through adding your Salto account to Lynx:

Create a site admin user in your Salto account
Ask Support to then setup your integration
Link your locks to corresponding properties on Lynx

- In Salto, do not setup locks as 'Common Door Locks' in Salto KS
- Provisioning is completed by your CSM and must be done before going live 
- Workflows and Auto Lock are not supported
- Access Codes can be anywhere from 6 to 10 digits, Lynx has no control over this
- ER Codes are only available on unit locks, not locks listed as Common Doors is KS or Lynx
- Salto KS access codes can be between 6 or 10 digits, Lynx has no control on this
- When "Property Vacant" then "Auto-Lock all unlocked every hour" Smart Rules is not 
supported for any Lock Models.
- When "Time is" then "Auto-Lock all the unlocked locks on 
Vacant Properties/All Properties" Smart Rule is not supported for any Locks Models.

The Process:

Step 1:	You will first need to login into Salto KS, and setup a user for Lynx. This will be the account that will be connected to your Lynx account and will be used to sync and control your locks. On the Salto site, you will need to sign in and then click on "Dashboard" From there, find the button that says "Add User" Then you will need to create a user: the email address should be support+(Your account name)@getlynx.co The next screen will ask you what 'Roles and Rules' this user should have. Make sure they are added as a 'Site Admin': The last screen should look like this: The next step will ask you what groups you want them in, please leave this blank and click next: The Final Step is to verify all settings and click create. You are now ready to add the integration to Lynx.
Step 2:	The next step should be completed on the Lynx Dashboard You will need to get in contact Lynx Support (support@getlynx.co) and ask them to finish setting up your integration Be sure to also email the username that was used to setup the account. Please also include which doors should be common doors.
Step 3:	Once Support has completed the setup of your Integration, you will then be able to add the lock to your individual properties to their Salto KS device - Add a Smart Lock to a Property
