Set-Up: Lynx with Guesty
Guest information is sent to Lynx when a reservation is confirmed and in turn, Lynx will send an email to the guest with information on how to set up their access. Lynx will need an API token to do this.
It's important to note that the process of generating a new lock access code when a guest booking is confirmed is not instantaneous. This means that if Guesty is set up with an automated message to be sent "at confirmation", there will not be an access code in the message.
What You Do:
Request an API token from Guesty, and then enter the information into Lynx.
What Are Tokens:
Tokens are pieces of information that allow Lynx and Guesty to communicate.

Step 1: | In Guesty, head to Account > Integrations. |
Step 2: | Select VirtualKEY (we are now Lynx) in the Marketplace. |
Step 3: | Click Connect. |
Step 4: | Copy the generated API Token to the clipboard. |
Step 5: | Enter the integration details in your Lynx Settings. |

2. | Click Integrations. |
3. | Click Add Integration. |
Step 6: | Complete the Add Integration Form. |
1. | Select PMS/Booking Site as Category. |
2. | Select Guesty as Partner. |
3. | Enter the Integration Name of your choosing. |
4. | Paste your Guesty Marketplace Token in the indicated field. |
5. | Should the access code be sent back to the PMS? Select Yes if you would like the guest access code to be available in Guesty. |
6. | Should the Stays be validated for full payment before sending Guest communication? Select Yes if you would only like to sync reservations that have been paid in full. |
7. | Click Save. |
