Set Up: Lynx with Guesty
Integrating Lynx with Guesty allows for seamless communication between the two platforms, ensuring that guest information is efficiently managed. Its a 2-way integration. Guesty sends reservation and guest info to Lynx and Lynx will send access code to Guesty. Once a reservation is confirmed in Guesty, guest information is sent to Lynx, which then sends an email to the guest with access setup instructions. To facilitate this integration, an API token is required.
The generation of a new lock access code for a guest upon booking confirmation is not instantaneous. Therefore, if Guesty is configured to send automated messages upon confirmation, the access code will not be included in that initial message.
What You Need to Do:
- Request an API Token from Guesty is essential for enabling communication between Lynx and Guesty.
- After obtaining the token, you will need to input it into your Lynx account settings.

Tokens are unique pieces of information that allow Lynx and Guesty to communicate securely and effectively.
