Currently, we do not support the "Add Split" option on Cloudbeds. If used, this will impact
your guest experience to successfully check-in. We recommend using the
"Add Accommodation" feature instead.
1. Go to "Edit Reservation"
2. Click "Add Accommodation"
3. Add check-in checkout time click "Search" and select the room type.
You will see a new reservation ID created for the Sub-stay.

Functionality:
-
Lynx offers an enterprise solution that enables various vacation rental and property management businesses to automate access management, provide keyless access to the properties, and enhance the experience by integrating the various devices like thermostats, multipurpose sensors, water-leak sensors, intercom, and other similar devices used in a smart home.
-
Lynx integrates with Cloudbeds PMS to synchronize reservations made through channels that Cloudbeds is tracking.
Access Code Push Back to Cloudbeds:
- Lynx will now automatically create a Custom Field in Cloudbeds with the name "LYNX ACCESS CODE" once Cloudbeds has been configured as an integration. Every reservation's guest access code will be sent to this custom field. Do not delete this custom field.
- While creating/updating integration, customers now have the option to choose whether they want us to push multiple access codes back to the Property Management System (PMS) If guests have booked multiple rooms in a single reservation (Wedding Parties, Large family stays, etc.).
Disconnection:
- The integrations account for Cloudbeds can be easily removed. The authorization-related access tokens and refresh tokens that were initially obtained will be deleted as a result.
When prompted, choose Yes by clicking the "x" button on the accounts tabs. - In order to disconnect your app from cloudbeds, to Disconnect Cloudbed
Guest check-in / Guest check-out:
- In addition to generating a message on Lynx when a guest code is used for the first time, Lynx also changes the reservation status on Cloudbeds to "IN-HOUSE".
Note: IN-HOUSE status will only be updated if guest uses the guest access code.
- The reservation status on Cloudbeds is changed to "CHECKED OUT" when Lynx detects the use of the guest checkout code, along with creating a message on Lynx and performing the workflow.
Limitations:
1. The feature is available only for locks on SmartThings hubs.
2. The reservation can be updated to "CHECKED OUT" by Lynx only if there is no balance due on the reservation when the guest checkout code is used.
