Set Up: Lynx with Cloudbeds
What You Do:
In order to connect Lynx with Cloudbeds, follow the process outlined below. This is a one-time setup.
The Process:

Step 1: | Navigate to Manage Integrations on Lynx App |
Step 2: | Select Integrations |
Step 3: | Click Add Integration |
Step 4: |
Select Category= PMS Booking Site. Select Partner= Cloudbeds and enter an appropriate name. Click the 'Save' button. |
Click "Shared Across all Groups" If you want your integration to be available account-wide
(recommended) otherwise select a group and the integration will be limited to that particular
group.
Step 5: |
Once the account is saved, it needs to be authorized by Cloudbeds. |
Step 6: |
Click on the Authorize button and click on Confirm. |
Step 7: |
You will be redirected to Cloudbeds login page. Login into Cloudbeds using your Cloudbeds account credentials. |
Step 8: | Click Approve...Note that Lynx was formerly known as VirtualKEY. |
Step 9: | You will be redirected to Lynx. Your Lynx account has been authorized by Cloudbeds. |
Currenty, we do not support "Add Split" option on Cloudbeds. If used this will impact your guest
experience to susccesfully check-in.
We recommend "Add Accommodation" feature.
1. Goto" Edit Reservation"
2. "Add Accommodation"
3. Add check-in checkout time click "Search" and select the room type.
You will see a new reservation ID created for the Sub-stay.

When Cloudbeds is setup as an integration, Lynx will now automatically create a Custom Field in Cloudbeds called “LYNX_ACCESS_CODE”. This custom field will receive the guest access code for every reservation. Do not delete this custom field.
