During the initial release of Lynx lock access control automation, access codes for reservation changes will be handled manually. There is an update slated to be released prior to July 30th, 2020, which will automate reservation changes.
Setting the Lynx "Token Key" & "Token Secret"
|Request API tokens from your Lynx Customer Success Specialist.
|In TRACK a Token Key and Token Secret must be added in the lock configuration.
Go to the configuration gear in the upper right corner of the application.
|Under Property Management go to Access Control Accounts.|
|Select +Integration and select Lynx.|
|Name the connection (internal only) and add the key/secret provided by Lynx.|
Updating Guest's Access code when a Reservation is Modified
In the event that a guest edits reservation dates or moves to another unit, the access code must be manually replaced.
After the change has been made, select the access code on the left under the general header. In the editing mode, select a new access code and save.
This will create a code for the new dates and/or the new unit. The guest portal will update with the new code.
Deleting Guest's Access code when a Reservation is Canceled
In the event of a reservation cancellation, the access code must be manually removed from
Within the reservation, select the access code on the left under the general header. In the editing model, delete the access code and save.
This will prevent the code from being visible to agents, remove the code from the guest portal and delete it within Lynx.
