How To: Add Lynx Access Codes in Track

You can share the Lynx generated access code via Track in two ways. Merge Field and Guest Portal.

Merge Field

The merge field is {{reservation.doorCode}}

Guest Portal

Step 1:

In the guest app on the home screen.

Step 2:

There are configurable options for displaying the code in configurations> Guest Portal >

Preferences > Rental Settings

Step 3:

- Specify the number of days the security codes will be displayed for.

- Enable codes to only show on check-in.

- Disable codes from displaying if there is a balance.

You can also send the guest another email/ text from Lynx directly via Messaging Automation. Send it a few days or hours before check-in or exactly at the time of check-in. Use tag <<ACCESS_CODE_INSTRUCTIONS>>.

See an example of the text and image that will be sent to the guest. The guest will see the code, instructions to operate the lock as well as an image of the lock. Clear access Instructions like these mean your guests will be far less likely to call for their access codes or ask for help with the locks.
