How To: Pause a stay

Below is the process of Pausing a Stay:

Pausing a stay is used to pause a current as well as upcoming reservation.

Following are the best use case to pause a stay:
- If a guest has not paid or their credit card declined
- A guest has not accepted the terms and conditions/ rental agreement.
- The guest did not adhere to house/ city rules.
- The guest did not respond to noise alerts/ is having a party.

	You can follow these instructions to pause a stay:
Step 1:	Click Properties.
Step 2:	Search for the property.
Step 3:	Locate the reservation and click on the pause button to Pause the stay. You can also pause a current and upcoming stay
Step 4:	Click Proceed to confirm.
Step 5:	You will see a confirmation message.
Step 6:	The Pause icon will be changed to the unpause button which can be used to unpause the stay.

Important Note:  The access code of the reservation will stop working as long as the reservation is in a paused state. Make sure to have the lock online so that the information can be sent to the lock.
