How To: Add Lynx Access Codes in MyVR
Adding Lynx access codes in MyVR can save you time and allow you to send Lynx access code directly from MyVR. By having this information included in your correspondence, your guests will be far less likely to call for their access codes or ask for help with the locks. You will be able to see the reservation's access code in MyVR as well which will in turn save time when you need to login to the Lynx portal to get the Guest access code.
We will need to create 'custom fields' which can be embedded under the reservation and Messaging templates in MyVR. The steps to follow are below.
|Step 1:||Log in to MyVR portal.|
|Step 2:||Click setup on the left panel.|
|Step 3:||Click Custom Fields under the setup section on the left panel.|
|Step 4:||Select Reservation.|
|Step 5:||Click Add New Field.|
| Enter Custom Field Name: LYNX_ACCESS_CODE
Data type: Single Line Text
|Step 6:||Hit Save Field to save the changes.|
You can also send the guest another email/ text from Lynx directly a few hours before check-in. Use tag <<ACCESS_CODE_INSTRUCTIONS>>.
The guest will see the code, instructions to operate the lock as well as an image of the lock. Clear access Instructions like these mean your guests will be far less likely to call for their access codes or ask for help with the locks.
