Understanding: Primary Lock
Getting the Primary Lock set up in Lynx Automation is pretty crucial. It's not just about keeping your task notifications running smoothly, but it also keeps your common door from getting codes it shouldn't.
You will need to set this up if your unit has more than one lock:
Task Notfications will not work correctly if the Primary Lock is not set correctly
How to Access the Primary Lock |
You can access this information from the Property Details, click the button on your Properties page: You can then scroll down till you see the Smart Locks and Devices: Properties You will see the list of your locks and which ones are set as the Primary Lock and the Common Lock: |
Change Primary Lock |
You can change the Primary Lock by clicking on it and picking whichever lock you would like: |
