- Why should the lock be online when deleting the property?
Lynx requires the devices to be online to remove all our proprietary software from it and return it to factory defaults. This is a security feature to remove all your staff codes as well, to ensure there is no additional liability for your company in case a staff member enters the property after it is off-boarded from your portfolio.
- What does Lynx do for you during the deletion process:
This process does not remove the hub-lock pairing and the devices can still be used. Lynx deletes all the codes it created. Lynx will also keep one code on the lock "9999" for your use.
- Recommended Process for the Future:
Please train your staff to delete the property while in the office and use code "9999" to enter the property to unplug/ uninstall devices. To avoid this fee in the future, please keep the devices online and delete the property on Lynx.
