How to: Handle Updated or Deleted PMS Fields
Lynx now offers customizable property detail mapping for both Track and Streamline, with support for additional PMS platforms coming soon!
- In the "Property Details" section for each property, you can now sync fields directly from your PMS - Simply map the fields in Lynx to their counterparts in the PMS, and let the system handle the data sync automatically.
- Custom Fields update only once daily, so if an update is made, you should not expect to see an update in the custom/standard fields until the next day. This is normal process.
- Here you can find the main article Overview: Mapping PMS Custom Fields which outlines the entire custom PMS mapping process.
When you update a custom field in Lynx under the Property Details, there may be times when you want to go back and change this, or remove the custom mapping you previously updated. When a field is deleted, the system will treat it like it is unmapped and remove it, setting it back to default where you can change it again, or leave it unmapped.
