Understanding: Stay Email and SMS Status, Icons

Stay Email and SMS Status Icons are visual confirmations of whether an Email or SMS has been sent based on the Automation(s). At a glance, you can see if your messaging automations have been sent out and their status.

Here is how it looks on the Lynx Dashboard>Property>Stays, you will see one for SMS and one for Email status:

These icons will be different based on what automation(s) you have active on your account.

Email and SMS Status List

Each one of these icons are clickable. If you click it before it has been activated, it will give you a chance to send it. Each Icon will show 1 of 5 different statuses:

Icon Status	Description
	Not Activated: This shows when your messaging is turned off. You can go to your settings to turn it on.
	Not Applicable: This means that your specific messaging does not have an associated Automation
	Scheduled: This icon means that your messaging has been scheduled. You can hover over this icon to get the specifics on when exactly it will be sent, with a preview of what is being sent.
	Sent: This icon confirms that the message has been sent, hover over the icon to get a confirmation of what message was sent and when.
	Failure: This icon is displayed whenever there is an error with the automation. Hover over the icon to understand what failed and why.
	Pause: This icon is displayed whenever the reservation has been paused.

Email and SMS Status Icon List

Now if you do not click on the icon, but instead hover over it, you will see more details about the specific automation. Here is what those statuses mean:

Icon	Description
	Confirmed: When a message is successfully sent, you will see this icon.
	Preview: Clicking this icon will give you a preview of the message. This way, you can see exactly what your guest will receive.
	Resend: This icon will resend your Email or SMS. Please note that this will only show if the automation was properly executed and the scheduled message was sent as expected. If you would like to resend, simply click on this refresh icon.
	Scheduled: This icon is displayed when an Email or SMS has been scheduled but not yet sent. You will see this as a confirmation that your Emails and SMS have an associated automation that will work at it scheduled time. .
	Fixable Issue with your automation: This icon is displayed whenever there is an error with the automation. Here are a list of possible errors: The phone number is invalid Either wrong area code Not a mobile number, so can't send an SMS Message Character limit exceeded The guest's Email is invalid
	Pause: This icon is shown when an automation has been paused. This means it could be paused from the PMS or paused in Lynx.
	Failure: This icon shows when an automation had failed, if you hover over the icon, it will show you the specific reason the icon has failed. Here are a list of reasons that could have caused the failure: Permissions Issue Phone number invalid Message Failed Throttling Failure Server Error Message Error Connection Timeout Trigger Conditions were not met
