How To: Pause a Stay
Below is the process of Pausing a Stay:
Pausing a stay is used to pause a current as well as upcoming reservation.
- You may find a few reasons to pause a stay:
- If a guest has not paid or their credit card was declined
- A guest has not accepted the terms and conditions/rental agreement
- The guest did not adhere to house and/or city rules
- The guest did not respond to noise alerts/is having a party
You can follow these instructions to pause a stay: | |
Step 1: |
Navigate to the "Properties" tab.

Step 2: |
Search for the property whose stay(s) you would like to pause.

Step 3: |
After locating the desired property, click the "Stays" tab under the property listing.

Step 4: |
Locate the reservation and click on the "Pause" button to pause the stay. Both upcoming and current stays can be paused. |
Step 5: |
Click the "Proceed" button to confirm. |
Step 6: |
A confirmation message will be displayed. |
Step 7: |

Important Note: The access code of the reservation will stop working as long as the reservation is in a paused state. Make sure to have the lock online so that the information can be sent to the lock.
