How To: Set up Approvals for Custom Guest Services
Lynx Custom Guest Services allows you to configure additional services and products to offer your guests. The fourth (required) step in setting up a Custom Guest Service offer is to configure the start and end times/dates that the product or service will be offered to the guest.
Steps to configure Approval settings for Custom Guest Services:

After completing the initial steps in the "Add Category & Product", "Media", "Pricing & Inventory", and "Booking Window" tabs, click to select the "Approvals" tab. |
Step 2: |
Click the "Approval Type" drop-down menu to select how to approve when guests request the product or service. Guest service requests can be approved automatically, or you can require the requests to be approved manually. |
Step 3: |
Click the "Maximum time to wait for the approval before Auto denying the request" drop-down menu to select the criteria that the system will use to measure how long to wait before automatically denying a request. Depending on the product or service type, you can select whether to measure wait time before automatic denial either before the stay check-in time, or after the request is received from the guest. |
Step 4: |
Click the "Select Hour(s)/Day(s)" drop-down menu to select a time increment, then specify the desired length of time in the text-entry field. You can select whether the value entered will be for a number of hours, or a number of days.

Step 5: |
Click the "Cancellation & Refund Policy" tab to proceed to the next step, or click the "Save as Draft" button to save your work to be completed later.
