CRITICAL WARNING: In the Track UI at the unit level, DO NOT choose "Lynx" as a lock provider. This is an outdated legacy connection method. Selecting "Lynx" within Track will trigger a failed token request and revoke existing door codes. Connections must only be managed within the Lynx portal using Track's API credentials.Note: Because this is now a one-way API integration, you no longer need to request or enter a Lynx Token.
When to use this guide
- When performing the initial integration of your Track PMS with Lynx.
- If you are experiencing "Invalid API Key" errors or failed synchronization between Track and Lynx.
- When onboarding new units, ensure they are correctly linked without causing integration conflicts.
Benefits of using this guide
- One-Way API Security: Understand the shift to one-way integration, where Lynx utilizes Track API credentials (Key/Secret) for a more stable connection instead of legacy tokens.
- Prevention of Code Revocation: Avoid common UI configuration errors in Track that cause all door codes to be system-revoked.
- Automated Efficiency: Ensure stay information and access codes sync seamlessly without manual intervention or legacy "Lynx" workarounds.
