                   How to: Pair Encode plus to Schlage home

 

Here are the steps to pair Encode plus to Schlage home 

Handing, or setting the deadbolt orientation, is done automatically during setup.

You will need to reset the lock if you it has already been handed

 

Step 1:

Login to Schlage Home App
Step 2:

Click on the below Icon if you are pairing a lock that you own

Step 3:

Select Schlage Encode plus
Step 4:

Choose the option for that says you have installed the lock on the door.
Step 5:

Scan the QR code

To Find QR code remove battery cover and it would be available at back of the lock.
Step 6:

Press and release the pairing button

Remove battery cover and you can find "Black Pairing button" .
Step 7:

 It will take up to 30 sec to complete the pairing process
Step 8:

Select connect Wi-Fi
      Step9:

This will test the Wi-Fi network and will connect to available Wi-Fi
Step 10:

Enter Location Name
Step 11:

Enter 4-8 digits access code
 Step 12:

Name your access code and Select Finish. This will auto-configure your Lock and you'll get a success message saying Lock has been configured for your door
