Set Up: Nest Camera on Lynx

This article applies for Nest camera onboarding to the Lynx portal after setting up the camera in the Nest App.

Important Note: Only cameras which supports WebRTC are supported by us. Below are the camera models we support:

Nest Cam (Indoor)
Nest Cam (indoor, wired)
Nest Cam (outdoor or indoor, battery)
Nest Cam Outdoor
Nest Cam with floodlight

The Process:

Step 1:	Nest Camera installation
	Follow the instructions in the box to install the camera. For installation help, reach out to Nest Support.

Step 2:	Nest App Set up
	During the app setup create/use your own account. Add the Camera to the app. Include the Nickname of the property while you name the Camera. e.g. TM101 1st Floor or Beach Paradise Living Room.

Step 3:	Add Nest Account to Lynx via the Integrations Page
	You will first need to add the Nest Integration to Lynx Make sure to authorize Lynx to access your Google Nest account after you have added the integration by following the prompts on the screen. Remember- This is a one-time step. You don't need to add the integration or authorize access every time you add a camera to your account.

Step 4:	Add each camera to the appropriate property on Lynx
	Click on Properties Search for the property. Click the Edit icon. Click the SmartLocks & Devices section to expand. Click on the + to Select New Integration. Select the Integration Type "Nest" from the list of SmartLock and Device Partners. Select the Integration Name from the list of Integrations you have set up in your account and Click Save Click the + to Add Smart Device. Select device type as Camera and select correct camera and save.

Important Note: We only support WebRTC camera devices at the moment and currently client can only see live feeds.
