How to: Migrate Your Account from Aruvo to Lynx
Welcome to your new experience! This guide will walk you through the simple, seamless transition of your existing account and TV setup from Aruvo to Lynx. Our teams will handle the technical heavy lifting behind the scenes so that your transition is as smooth as possible.
Important Note on Pricing: Transitioning your account from Aruvo to Lynx will not change your pricing structure. Your billing plan, billing frequency, and rates remain exactly the same.
When to use this guide
Use this guide if:
- You have already set up and configured an Aruvo account (primarily used as a standalone Smart TV app to control viewed content) and now need to transfer your account to Lynx (to integrate smart locks, thermostats, and other property management hardware while utilizing the built-in Lynx Smart TV app as part of your system).

Migrating your platform unlocks immediate enhancements to your guest environment:
- Launch Screen Music: Transitioning to Lynx allows you to add custom background music directly to your smart TV launch screen experience, a key engagement feature that is not available on the standalone Aruvo platform.
Step-by-Step Process: Aruvo to Lynx Migration

| Step 1: | Connect with our support team to confirm you want to proceed with the migration. An agent will verify your request and submit it to the Customer Success (CS) team. |
| Step 2: | Review and sign the electronic contract sent to your email from our CS team. This initiates the migration workflows between Support and Finance. |
| Step 3: | Once the contract is signed, Lynx teams (Support, Tech, & Finance) configure your billing profile, copy over your integration linkages, change your brand source to Lynx, and prepare your account portal. |

Log in to your newly generated Lynx Portal using the temporary password provided by our team. Note: Once your Lynx Portal credentials are active, your old Aruvo credentials will no longer function. All backend devices will remain operational. |
