How To: Switch to a 2.4 GHz network on your router
By default Spectrum Routers are setup to be 5 Ghz, which means they will not work with most locks. This article will walk you through setting up a specific 2.4 GHz network for those devices, but you should be aware that Support agents cannot help you with this setup and are simply guiding you through the process. .
Please note that while this guide is designed to assist you with your network settings, Lynx is not responsible for any changes made to your network or its performance. If you have specific questions or issues related to your router, we recommend reaching out to Spectrum’s customer support directly.
Before you start, make you have the:
- The login credentials for your Spectrum account both the username and password
NOTE: This is for SPECTRUM only. For properties with their own individual routers (Non public access), you will need the log in credentials for every property Spectrum account or the property owner will need to log in to their account or give you access to change this.
