How to Change Wifi: August Connect
The Process:
| Step 1: | Login into the August App. |
| Step 2: | From the Home Screen Choose the property you want to change Wifi on |
Note: WiFi must be 2.4Ghz, you also must connect your phone to the same Wifi that you are connecting the August Connect to. You will need to have Bluetooth enabled, and be in range of the Connect.
| Step 3: | Click on the settings wheel on bottom right. |
| Step 4: | Click "Connect Settings" , Then Click "Disconnect Device" |
| Step 5: |
On the Connect Device itself, press and hold the button on the front of the device for at least 5 seconds. After you release button the Connect should be blinking green. |
| Step 6: |
Back on the August app, click the 3 lines on the top left, and "Set up New Device" Then "Set up a Connect" go through set-up and connect to the new Wifi. After complete you can go back into the connect settings, and Click "Signal Strength" to make sure it has a good connection. |
